The DUP MEP Diane Dodds on May’s Brexit Deal

March 27, 2019

The DUP MEP for Northern Ireland Diane Dodds spoke about Theresa May’s Withdrawal deal during a debate on Brexit in the European Parliament this morning.

She told MEPs that the Withdrawal Agreement would see Northern Ireland leave the EU on different terms to the rest of the UK under the backstop. And she said the deal would endanger the constitutional and economic integrity of the UK. She told MEPs that was not a price "we as Unionists" are willing to pay.
