Representatives from the European Parliament’s Fisheries Committee are to visit Cork next week.
It is in a bid to hear first hand the concerns of those in the local fishing industry.
Sinn Fein MEP, Liadh Ni Riada says, quotas, the management of stock after Brexit and enforcement are just some of the issues fishermen want addressed.

An Irish MEP believes there would not be enough support among member states to change EU voting rules on tax.
The suggestion was made in a State of the Union address by the EU Commission President at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
Jean-Claude Juncker believes qualified majority voting should replace unanimity on some tax issues.
That raises the prospect of the end of the Irish veto in relation to tax decisions.
