The European Parliament is unlikely to vote against the EU-UK free trade agreement despite recent actions of the UK over Northern Ireland.
That’s according to Green MEP Ciarán Cuffe.
MEPs were expected to vote on the deal later this month. But a decision on when to hold the vote was postponed following last week’s move by the UK to extend Irish sea border grace periods until October.
Ciarán Cuffe says the UK actions are hardening opinions in Brussels.
