O’Sullivan calls for all-island rail network

A Green Party MEP is calling for an all-island rail network to help reduce carbon emissions.

 

It comes after European Parliament backed a major new initiative to promote rail as a more sustainable way of travelling.

 

The 2021 Year of Rail aims to boost the number of people and goods on trains.
