EU Citizens discuss Europe’s future in Dublin Castle – Clune

Two hundred EU citizens are gathering in Dublin this weekend to discuss the issues they believe are crucial to Europe’s future. They’re participating in the final of four European Citizens’ panels which were set up as part of the Conference on the Future of Europe.

The meetings will take place in Dublin Castle throughout the weekend.

Fine Gael MEP Deirdre Clune is on the Conference’s plenary. She says many issues have been discussed by the panellists ranging from climate change, health and job security to migration, trade and democracy. Each panel will make a list of recommendations which will go into a final report for consideration.
