Cuffe welcomes 60% emissions cut target

Green Party MEP Ciarán Cuffe is welcoming the European Parliament’s call to raise the EU’s 2030 climate target.

 

MEPs want to see a 60 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in the next ten years.

 

That’s 5 per cent higher than what the EU Commission proposed.
