Cuffe calls for simple system to access EU COVID funds

Bureaucracy shouldn’t get in the way of small businesses trying to access emergency EU funding.

That’s the warning from Dublin MEP Ciarán Cuffe who was reacting to measures announced by Europe to tackle the COVID crisis and the economic fallout.

The European Investment Bank has already promised a 200-billion-euro fund for small and medium sized enterprises.
