Clune keeps pushing to save lives

There should be no complacency in trying harder to cut road deaths – that’s according to MEP, Deirdre Clune. A resolution in the European Parliament calls for a raft of measures to be applied across Europe including lower speed limits, more emphasis on safety and the use of the latest technology to reduce collisions. The EU has a target of zero road deaths by 2050, but can it ever be achieved? Ireland South MEP, Deirdre Clune, insists the EU and governments must do everything they can to get there.
