Farmers (in Ireland) are likely to lose out because of cuts to the CAP budget over the next seven years. That’s according to the Sinn Fein MEP Chris MacManus.
The European Commission has presented a new set of proposals for the EU’s long-term budget that will run from 2021 to 2027.
According to the Midlands North-West MEP, the new proposed CAP budget would represent a significant cut overall when inflation is taken into account compared to the overall CAP funding between 2014 to 2020.
