A major push is underway to raise awareness of Lyme disease across Europe.
The tick borne disease can be spread to humans through a bite.
MEPs in Strasbourg have been debating the issue.
People working outdoors and those walking in forests, long grass or vegetation can be at risk.
There is concern the medical profession does not have enough training in identifying the symptoms.
