Carthy slams Taoiseach’s Brexit excuses for delays in rural Broadband rollout

The Sinn Fein MEP Matt Carthy has slammed the Taoiseach for suggesting that Brexit could delay the rollout of broadband in rural areas.

Leo Varadkar recently warned a Brexit bailout could impact on public finances and the government’s capacity to pay for the provision of rural broadband services.

Matt Carthy says such excuses shouldn’t be tolerated.
