It is claimed the Irish Government could do more to address the country's reputation as a "tax haven".
The call from a Dublin MEP, comes after a new academic report claimed Ireland was the biggest "tax haven" in the world used by multi-nationals to shelter profits.
The study was carried out by economists from the United States and Denmark.
The Department of Finance has labelled the findings "overly simplistic".
Sinn Fein MEP Lynn Boylan claims the Irish Government is blocking a key measure on multi-national accounting at the EU:
