New EU terrorism committee in Ireland’s interests – Hayes

July 6, 2017

New measures to improve security against terrorism in Europe were approved today. MEPs voted to set up a temporary committee, which will operate for at least 12 months. The Fine Gael MEP says the threat of terrorism affects Ireland as well and that the establishment of the committee will not impinge on Irish neutrality.
